He saw the opportunity for an accounting firm that brings energy to client's needs, rather than always being busy and tired.
At Real Books, we combine proactive tax planning with comprehensive accounting services, ensuring our clients receive the best guidance and support. Our focus is on building long-term relationships, helping clients be profitable and gain an understanding of their tax plan.

MATTHEW CERVONI, CPA
My career began at a large public accounting firm, where I gained extensive experience specializing in real estate, investment partnerships, and tax planning for individuals. I left to start Real Books because I wanted to break away from the traditional public accounting model and create something more impactful.
I enjoy more than just numbers and spreadsheets! My passion for coaching extends beyond the business, as I'm also a lacrosse coach! Outside of work and coaching, I love staying active and spending time outdoors, so you can usually find me playing pick-up basketball or firing up the grill.

Meet Our Senior Accountant
BENJAMIN RIGGS
Hi, I'm Benjamin Riggs, and I joined Real Books as a Senior Accountant in 2022. Having witnessed Matt's vision come to life, I was drawn to the company's potential and its commitment to excellence. My journey into accounting started with an interest in business, which led to a degree in accounting from the University of North Alabama. After college, I spent a few years working for an accounting firm and later transitioned to working with Real Books growing my expertise in accounting and real estate.
When I'm not crunching numbers, you can find me exploring the great outdoors, indulging my passion for sports, or hitting the gym. Thanks to my time living in Spain, I'm fluent in both English and Spanish, adding a unique layer to my professional toolkit.
